Joe and Ed like wine. They like drinking wine, collecting wine and talking about wine. One day (over a glass of wine) they were complaining about how annoyed they were every time one of their expensive wine glasses broke. Joe was annoyed at the cost; Ed was more annoyed at the effort to replace them — especially the hard-to-find ones. And both of them hated washing glasses by hand. Consequently they stopped using their best glasses except for rare occasions. So they started looking for a solution.
